Bantwal: Carmel College holds service activity at Jeevadan, Gurpur

Bantwal, Apr 28: As a part of learning process, Carmel College Modankap organized a service activity at Jeevadan, HIV/AIDS Rehabilitation Centre, Gurpur, recently.

The students were given an exposure to visit and interact with these patients. This experience created an awareness among students to accept, respect and take care of patients. It was an occasion to share with the less privileged and to reach out to them in compassion.



The college students put up a short entertainment programme, conducted games, distributed snacks, and soaps to the inmates. Around 60 students participated in the service activity. Joel Mascarenhas, lecturer in commerce, and Vinitha Veigas, lecturer in Business Administration co-ordinated the programme. Principal Sr M Supriya was present.
