Kumaraswamy promises stable government, meets Rahul, Sonia in Delhi

From Special Correspondent
Daijiworld Media Network - Hassan

Hassan, May 21: JD(S)-Congress coalition’s Chief Ministerial designate H D Kumaraswamy, who visited his native Hassan district and visited several temples in Holenarasipur and other places on Monday before flying to Delhi to meet Congress President Rahul Gandhi and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and other opposition leaders, promised to provide a stable government and expressed confidence that the government will last the full five-year term.

"I know the task is tough, but I am confident I will be successful," he said during an interaction with the media in Holenarasipur on Monday morning.

Kumaraswamy and his wife Anita Kumaraswamy offered prayers in the Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in the Holenarasipur, his native taluk.

"By God's grace, I have got an opportunity to be Chief Minister of the state once again," he said.

The JD(S) State President and former Chief Minister said: "I am here to offer prayers in the temples of my native place."

Kumaraswamy’s elder brother and MLA of Holenarasipur H D Revanna accompanied him to the temple.
Later, he visited the Eshwara Temple at Haradanahalli, Ranganatha Swamy Temple at Mavinakere and Deveeramma Temple at Yaliyuru.

Kumaraswamy, however, parried questions on whether there will be two Deputy Chief Ministers from the Congress and also the composition of the ministry.

"We will finalise the details during my talks with Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi," he said.

Kumaraswamy later met Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the latter's residence in Delhi.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Kumaraswamy said, "Rahul Gandhi cleared the modalities to be done, he has given permission to Karnataka General Secretary K C Venugopal to discuss all those matters and finalise everything. Local leaders and he will sit together tomorrow to finalise things.”

"I wanted to show my respect and regards to Gandhi family. That's why I came here. I requested their presence in oath taking ceremony. Both of them agreed to be present at the oath taking ceremony," Kumaraswamy said on his meeting with the Gandhis.

He is scheduled to take the oath on Wednesday afternoon in front of Vidhana Soudha and the swearing in ceremony will be attended by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Chief Ministers of several States including BSP leader Mayawati, CPM leader Sitaram Yechury and DMK leader M K Stalin.

Its not Stable Government, it will be Table Government. Everyone from Karnataka will get Free ticket to Italy and 10 days's stay free of charge. CM will work 6 months from Italy and 6 Months from Bengaluru. All DCMs (not not how many ) will work from their respective villages. Ex. DCM from Udupi will work from Udupi. etc...It will bed decentralized power Sharing.

    @Ivar, Mangalore,
Your quote "Kumaraswamy has stooped to such a low where he has to fold hands in front of somebody who is nobody!"
Do you know there is word called decency in a civilized world. That is what Kumaraswamy shown in front of RG & Sonia Gandhi. How would you and your leaders know the meaning of this word. Because you people never tried to inculcate such behavior to respect others.

Because your leader the great amith shah himself is a teacher to you all who shown his uncivilized behavior in front of respectable swamijis while sitting in front of them keeping his one leg on top of other leg showing his sandals towards respected swamiji. And you and your leaders are giving a lecture on decency, culture, etc.

First learn how to behave and talk in public. Then comment on others. Whole India is watching how your party spokespersons are shouting, screaming in the national channels defending their leaders jumla lies. Because they have been trained to do so, whenever people ask questions on development, they scream, shout and try to shut others mouth. This is the decency and culture you people adopted and following.
    Bada aaya doosronko decency sikhanewala

IT IS SHAME ON THE PART OF CONGRESS BEING A NATIONAL PARTY TO SURRENDER BEFORE REGIONAL PARTY LIKE JD-S AFTER GETTING HIGHEST VOTE SHARE SHOWS THEY HAVE STOOPED FAR BELOW LEVEL THAN A REGIONAL PARTY AND LOST TOTAL DIGNITY AND THE VOTER FEELS SHAME FOR VOTING WITH SO MUCH PROUD TO BE A CONGRESS VOTER.

AFTER RULING TWO TERMS AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL SUCH DESPARATION IS UNCALLED FOR.

POWER MAY COME AND GO BUT IF DIGNITY IS LOST IT IS GOOD FOR NOTHING.

THIS MAY RESULT IN VOTER CHANGE HIS LOYALTY TO BJP IN NEXT ELECTIONS.

It's far better to share the Government with credible secular regional party than to allow pouching / corrupting of their MLA's by Rs.100/- crores by BSY and his team.
Bribing other party MLA's to defect is in fact butchering of democracy, spoiling the entire system!

Its laughable at times. Though its a short moment celebration of 'lease of life ' for Congi. What is going to happen in the future for Cong in Ktaka.? Will it be Cong -JDS merge contesting for any election?. This will only make BJP stronger. As many Congis are not happy with JDS and vice versa. Cong ministers or MLAs would not be happy too, as now they have to listen to someone who was dead against them since 1995. One prominent Cong minister has already issued such a statement. There are more questions to be answered.

What a state of mind the BJP is having. When it comes to Karnataka they say Democracy is killed. But what about the states where BJP is ruling with the support states like Goa, Maniput, JK .

This election BJP fought on the Hinduvatha and not on development. At the centre BJP was talking about Ram Temple is there any progress. Instead of fooling and dividing people on Religious grounds let the Hindus and Muslims sit together and Sort out the difference and find a solution.

Now in Karnataka JDS and the congress have joined hands to form the government, let them do it. By hook or crook BJP will try its best to play dirty and break the collation with money power. Hope they will not succeed in this evil work.

1.Rs 54000 crores for Farm loan waver and then budget will be cut for power ,PWD etc which may be owned by Congress .So less money for Contract Congress will be unhappy
2.What portfolio for whom internal fights
3.Who takes credit for success of programs fight within
Only one thing both will be happy to do is minority appeasement like Tippu Jayanti, dropping cases against Terrorists etc

Now we need leaders with developed mind, progressive thinking and futuristic mechanism to engage our educated youth of the state and develop Karnataka to make it No. 1 State again. Please don't try social engineering stunts here to confuse readers by first saying you are a Congress supporter and then praising Modi and Yeddy with the ultimate aim of making those anti BJP into pro BJP.

We know your types very well. This is BJP social engineering strategy in their IT cells to convert non BJP supporters into BJP supporters by gradually by first confusing readers and then convincing them to change their thinking and finally support the BJP. They have such cells spread across the country. Only the gullible and foolish whom there are plenty of fall into their trap.
