Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 22: Even before the formation of the ministry in the state by Congress - JD(S) combine, it is said that there is opposition for giving ministerial post to former water resources minister and Babaleshwar MLA, M B Patil. As per information, two Congress MLAs in Patil's neigbouring constituencies too are opposed to him, as they accuse him of having tried to defeat them.

It is said that JD(S) leaders have asked Congress to keep Patil away from the state ministry as he is surrounded by controversy. They say that Congress suffered setback because of supporting Patil's attempts to create separate Lingayat religion and if he is made minister, he will face opposition from Lingayat and Veerashaiva communities. They point out that former ministers, Vinay Kulkarni and Sharana Prakash Patil, who had stoutly supported M B Patil in Lingayat issue, have bitten dust in the election. JD(S) has reminded Congress party that it had bitterly opposed the issue of creation of separate religion when the issue was pursued by Congress leaders.

As there is confusion about the sharing of ministries and selection of ministers, it has been decided that H D Kumaraswamy will be the only one to take oath on Wednesday. The responsibility of choosing ministers by holding discussions with state leaders has been given to Gulam Nabi Azad, Ashok Gehlot, and K C Venugopal.

I advice that all Congi+JDS MLS should be kept in a Cow Shed so that there will not be any trouble for HDK, Raul Vincy and Sonia Maino for ruling Karnataka few months. Otherwise HDK's gov will fall in a couple of months.
