Kundapur, May 23: The person, who was seriously injured in the bike accident at Kundapur on the night of Tuesday, May 22, breathed his last on the morning of Wednesday, May 23.
The unfortunate victim of this incident is the bike rider Deepak (38), a photographer by profession. The incident occurred as he did not notice the speed breaker that was put across the newly built bridge at Hunsekatte, Koni near here. He was severely injured in the mishap and was admitted to the Manipal hospital initially.
Later the victim was transferred to a private hospital in Kundapur for further treatment. However, Deepak succumbed to his injuries on the morning of Wednesday. A condolence meeting was held to offer tribute to the deceased by the association of photographers.
A case in this regard stands registered in the Kundapur traffic police station.
