Mangaluru: International Yoga Day celebrated at Shakthi School and PU College

Mangaluru, Jun 21: “Yoga helps us to concentrate and keeps away diseases. It eradicates evil things from our mind and creates healthy environment everywhere. We get peace of mind by practising yoga regularly,” said Yogarathna Gopalakrishna Delampady.

He was addressing the students and the teachers of Shakthi Residential School and PU College who were celebrating International Yoga Day.



Sanjith Naik, the managing trustee of the Shakthi Education Trust presided over the function. Madhulika, the principal of the school spoke on the importance of the day.

Baikady Janardhan Achar, the administrator, introduced the chief guest. Naseem Banu, the institution development officer compered the programme. Delampady was felicitated for his outstanding contribution in the field of yoga.
