Chikkamagalur: 'Let I-T department raid my home, not bothered', says Karandlaje

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikkamagaluru (SP)

Chikkamagaluru, Jun 22: "Let Income Tax (I-T) officials raid my residence. The party to which Belur Gopalakrishna belongs is ruling the state. Therefore, let I-T officials raid my home and conduct scrutiny," challenged Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP, Shobha Karandlaje. She reacted to former BJP MLA, Belur Gopalakrishna's demand on I-T raid on her house.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday June 21, she predicted that leaders of JD(S) and Congress will crumble on their own under the weight of their sins. "We too are waiting for this to happen. Those who are afraid of I-T raid have been letting loose their tongues," she said, in an apparent reference to minister, D K Shivakumar. She also said that in tune with a Kannada adage, those who eat excess of salt have no other option but to consume water in copious quantities.
