Kasargod, Jun 22: In a tragic incident, a lorry ran over an 18-year-old youth killing him on the spot at Udyavar, Manjeshwar, on the national highway in the morning on Thursday, June 22. 

The deceased is identified as Kunjathur resident Niaz (18). His bike lost control and hit Abdulla, a pedestrian crossing the road. The lorry which was approaching on the way ran over Niaz. Abdulla who sustained serious injuries was admitted to Mangaluru hospital.



Traffic on national highway went haywire for sometime after the accident. Police arrived at the spot and took further action.
