Mangaluru: Partial restoration of train services to city

Mangaluru, Aug 19: Chennai Central-Mangaluru Central train will now touch the Mangaluru Central railway station as the track between Shoranur and Kuttipuram which was not functional has been set right now.

Passenger train service also will start in this section very soon. Kannur-Yeswantpur train will be operated as a special train but will run as per the usual timings.

Phase cancellation

Train no 12617 Ernakulam - Nizamuddin Express of August 19 will start from Mangaluru Junction instead of Ernakulam and will run up to Nizamuddin.

The Mangaluru - Coimbatore Intercity train will also be run as a special train.

There is no change in the schedule of Mangaluru - Chennai West Coast Express and it will run as per its normal timings.

According to a statement released from the Palakkad Indian Railway Division, the Shoranur - Thrissur - Ernakulam stretch is not yet restored.
