Tempo tumbles on car in serial accident, miraculous escape for many

Udupi, Jun 6: After a horrible accident between a bus and a tempo, the tempo fell later on a passing car on June 6 here.

The speeding Ace tempo, belonging to ‘Packers and Movers’ driven close to the express bus, was going to Udupi from Mangaluru, hit the bus when the bus was turning towards Udupi. The tempo, as a result, fell on the car belonging to Udupi district hospital's Dr Sudhesh being driven from Udupi to Mangaluru. The car has been mangled in the accident.

Dr Sudhesh's wife and children were travelling in the car. Dr Sudhesh's son Vaibhav has sustained minor injuries. He has been admitted to a private hospital.

Tempo driver Purushotham has escaped unhurt. Rajith, Dinesh, Ashok and Athik in the tempo also have sustained minor injuries and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The onlookers have said that speed and negligence by the tempo driver is the cause of the accident.

A case has been registered at traffic police station.

    Not Sure how these drivers escape from the spot and no one catches them.Pictures says this is somewhere in city and not some remote place. Heard many of the cases saying driver escaped. Great talent in escaping
