Udupi: Issue over stone pelted at dog - Two families fight bitterly, case registered

Udupi, Dec 30: Two families fought bitterly over pelting stone at a dog of one of the families.

According to the complaint filed by Vinu, resident of 80 Badagubettu, Vinu was standing near his house at Netajinagar. A person by the name Ganesh who was walking on the road, hit the dog, which was standing near the house of Vinu, with a stone. When Vinu questioned Ganesh’s behaviour, Ganesh abused him in filthy language. At the same time both Vijaya and Ganesh assaulted Vinu with knife and iron rod and also threatened to kill him. Vinu’s parents also got injured in the fight.

A counter complaint is filed by Asha also. In her complaint Asha alleged that when accused Vinu and Manjunatha were fighting with her husband Ganesh, she went to pacify them. Both Vinu and Manjunatha hit Asha and Ganesh with iron rod and knife. Both Asha and Ganesha are also injured on the head.

Both the cases are registered in Manipal police station.

    H.Siddanthi Udipi,USA, No soon their children and cows ?Simply people are inviting trouble with pelting stones on dog which wasnt doing to the Pedastrian.In konkani we say " ,waten wecha waga ,maka yevnu Khaga",(Tiger which was on his way ,come and eat me")Everyone knows Pelting stone to a dog is like inviting trouble to self .

    k.b r mangala uruDear friend it is nowhere said dog was troubling.He was walking on the road dog was near venu .he simply threw stone and he questioned so begann the fight.
