Mangaluru, Jan 1: MLA U T Khader on Saturday January 1 said, “The BJP government is not interested in the decentralization of power. They are interested in the centralization of power.”

He further said, “The court should order them to take every decision. The Supreme Court should order them to provide beds and oxygen for the patients. The court should order them to provide compensation for the Covid-19 victims. Even to conduct elections, they should take their permission. What is their problem in conducting elections at the right time?

“It took more than a year and half for the Kotekar elections. Even Someshwara is a town panchayat. Elections should have been conducted there, but they have kept a separate time for that.

“When there is an Election Commission, they have made a commission for each constituency. The commission was approved in the assembly a year ago. Still, guidelines are yet to come. They have formed this commission to misguide the court. The government has no intention to hold elections in favour of the people. They are fooling the people. Unfortunately, it is painful that even the people trust them. Again and again, people are being fooled. Even people too are happy to get fooled,” he said.

On Thokottu to Kuthar road widening work, the MLA directed changes in the routes of buses of medical colleges and institutions.

Khader directed to resolve the traffic problem that was caused due to the road widening work. He said, “There will be changes in the route of buses of the medical colleges and Infosys. A meeting will be conveyed tomorrow with the medical colleges and Infosys administrative committee.

“Buses of the medical colleges and buses of Infosys will travel from Kotekar Beeri, via Madyar, Deralakatte. Other vehicles can travel as usual. To prevent the traffic inconvenience this step has been taken. Everyone should cooperate for the change," said the MLA.

What is Mr Khader trying to convey? Is there anything new that he or his party is doing? What does he expect of public? Centralization or Decentralization of power, how would affect us OR what his business here? Mr, Khader , how long will you and other Congress leader call up a meeting like this and blame BJP ? We all know this and are sick and tired of these rants coming from you. No wonder modern minority voters are tilting towards regional parties like SDPI, JDS and alarmingly 'BJP minority morcha'. With all this cxap coming out of you guys, what can they expect.
