Mangaluru: Youth who tried to save doeling from oncoming train succumbs to injuries

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Jan 3: Chethan (21), working as a conductor of a private bus, who lost both his legs trying to save a doeling from coming under a train, succumbed to injuries on Sunday January 2.

Two months ago, Chethan saw a doeling playing on a railway track. As he heard the sound of an oncoming train, he rushed to the tracks and tried to lift the doeling from the track.

However, it was too late and the train hit Chethan and ran over his legs.

Chethan, who was grievously injured, was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru. His friends had collected money for his treatment by asking for alms on streets of the city. Many philanthropists also helped in his treatment. Chethan, who recovered slightly was brought home.

However, he was readmitted to the hospital as he was mentally upset and refused to take food. Chethan passed away on Sunday.

Dear Ahmed, Mangalore, May be because, this person was not belonging to their organization! Surly, he was a kind hearted person! Moreover, if you see normally, no institutes or places of worship are helping in such incidents directly from their account. They only organize to collect from the public & donate! Only good hearted individuals are always contributing.

Very sad news. Good job done by Chetan. May Gos bless him. However its strange that so called saviers of human being BD / RSS / SRS are hiding . NOne of these organisations came out to help this poor person. These organisations only come to support of goondas who create trouble in society on religion basis.
