Karnataka's Covid tally rises yet again, over 5,000 cases reported in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Jan 6: Karnataka on Thursday, January 6 registered 5,031 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 22,173. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 4324.

As many as 1 death due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Thursday, with Bengaluru Urban recording 1 deaths, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,358.

The state recorded 271 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 29,62,043.

So far, Karnataka has seen 30,22,603 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 3.95% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.01%.

    High time to Stop the common viral communist RTPCR tests, Which are basically to push communist Vaccines 1, 2 booster 1,2,3,4,5... till one goes to grave. Which detect viral common cold, flu, previous and future corona viruses 21, 22, 23, including corona based chinese lab made covid 19, all as covid 19!. But communist leaning WHO cautíoning not take omicron as common cold. If not seasonal common cold then another chinese lab made strain ? To push and market their deadly boosters. Looks like these evil communist chinese have stock of fast spreading, slow spreading, deadly, spiked variants in stock to ruin the economy and push sterilizing and euthanising vaccines and boosters to decimate much of populatuon and to bring their new world order. Smart elite and communist chinese, unfortunately looks like some of elite and communist designed vaccines get manufactured in india to fool the whole world.

    Don't do lockdown. Put police in public place ,public transportation, school colleges and villages to monitor whether people are following covid rules.Impose fine for those who violated covid protocols.Give lathi charge for people who are forming crowds .Also police should announce using mic that omicron is dangerous virus in public places so that people will fear and follow covid rules
