Bantwal: Absconding accused in cheating case arrested, sentenced to 2 year jail

Bantwal, Mar 19: Vitla police on Saturday, March 18 arrested Nalini (53) who was absconding without appearing in the court in a cheating case.

Nalini is a resident of Suribailu, Bolanturu gram. She is accused of starting a finance company and said to have cheated people. There is also a complaint registered against her in the consumer court. 

Vitla police staff Ibrahim, Pravin, Rakshit and Chitralekha participated in the operation under guidance from DySP Ravish C R and CPI Manjayya. 

She was produced in the court which sentenced her to two years imprisonment and Rs five thousand fine.
