Mysuru: New office bearers of Konkani Christian Association elected

Mysuru, Dec 15: The annual general body meeting of Konkani Christian Association, Mysuru was held recently at Konkan Bhavan in Vijayanagar.

On the occasion, meritorious students were felicitated - two PhD degree holders, eight master's, eighteen SSLC and PUC. As part of charitable services, Rs 1,10,000 worth medical assistance was given to two kidney dialysis patients, one for eye operation, and education assistance for ten students irrespective of their caste and creed.

The following members were elected unanimously as the office bearers of the association for a period of two years along with other executive committee members.

President - Vincent Crasto
General secretary - John Wlliam D'Souza
Treasurer - John Leo Rebello
Vice-presidents - Antony Harry Pinto and Joyce Sequeira
Joint secretaries - Laveena D'Souza and Maxim D'Almeida

General secretary John William D'Souza delivered the vote of thanks. Joint secretary Maxim D'Almeida conducted the proceedings.
