I was shocked to know Kashinath is no more. He was a good friend of mine. During 1980-81, he was a regular visiter to our Gurujyothi Film Distribution office in Gandhinagar, Bengaluru where his hit movie "Aparichitha" got released thru us. A versatile actor/comedian, we've lost a fine human being. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanthi.

Kannada movie industry has lost a talented director, actor and producer . Kashinath made some unconventional films which was not acceptable to some, but highlighted problems of that time. He showed how Kannada films with low budget and without big stars can become hits. Kashinath gave Kannada movie audience new experience which was appreciated by other languages also. He has also directed films in Hindi and Telugu. He nourished talents like Upendra, Sunil Kumar Desai, V.Manohar and many others. May his soul rest in peace.

Sad to hear the death of talented personality of Karnataka especially our place. When no actor of those days fear to do such bold comedy movies, he did it with passion and people accepted it heartily. Sad to hear his untimely demise.

May the departed soul rest in peace.
Kashinath started with his suspense thriller Movie Aparichta in the late 80.The film industry was stunned by the success of films made by kashinath due to his unconventional style.Nothing of fight and revenge, but of course his films were considered vulgar but we used to enjoy his films and so do all the viewers. You used to make us laugh and laugh that was the most enjoyable movies we have seen in our college days.
