Mysuru: Four die, over 40 injured in serial accident

Mysuru, Mar 15: Four persons lost their lives and over 40 injured after two private buses and a Tata Indica car got involved in a serial accident. The accident happened at Chikkalli in the taluk on Wednesday March 14.

Vishwanath (30), resident of Doddanayakara Beedi, Kollegal in Chamarajanagara district, his mother, Prabha (55), Mahesh (11) a student of Shashwati school Alanahalli Mysuru who was in the private bus, and Basavaraju (55) from Kupparavalli village in Nanjangud taluk, who also was in the bus, died in the accident.

Over 40 persons including passengers in both the buses and two others in Indica car suffered serious injuries. All of them were admitted into K R Hopsital here. The condnition of five among them is stated to be critical.
