Harold “Harry” Rasquinha (72), Pastor of the Open Door Baptist Church in Clermont, Florida, and son of the late Sebastian and the late Severina (nee Alvares) Rasquinha of Cordel (Kulshekar), passed away in Mangalore, India on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
He was popularly known in Mangalore as “Harryboy Kulshekar,” when he was the editor/publisher of the Konkani weekly “Kannik” prior to moving to the U.S.
Harry leaves behind his beloved wife, Cindyann Rasquinha; and two daughters, Lois (Josh Ormsby) and India (Zachary Verner); and six grandchildren.
Harry is the dearest brother of the late Emilia (the late Francis D’Souza); Isaac (Rosie); Celine (the late Lawrence D’Silva); Monica (Albert Cornelio) of Rochester NY; Gracy (Sister Nazarene Rasquinha, Sisters of Charity); Ladislaus (Leena Castelino) of Florida; Veda (the late Mathew Miranda); and Avil (Marietta D’Silva).
Funeral Details:
Funeral services were held this week at Open Door Baptist Church in Mangalore. The body was flown to Florida for additional funeral services, to be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10.00 am at the Open Door Baptist Church at 17140 Highway 27 in Clermont, FL.
