A viewing of the dearly departed will be organized in Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Urva, Mangalore on Sunday, November 3 for public homage at 2.45 pm, followed by Mass at 3.15 pm.

Our Dearest Aunty Mabel, Lyn, Nigel, Annette, Astrid & family,

Today we share your grief and we also share in the love and sweet memories of our loving Uncle Tony. We remember the times when Uncle Tony came to visit us from Kuwait with lots of treats, the most memorable days of our childhood life. Those are the kind of things that he will be remembered for - making little children smile and bringing joy and laughter in our lives. We are going to miss his warmth and presence but we know he is alive in our hearts, alive through the kind words he said to us, the most caring deeds he did and the great example he was to us. Let us remember Uncle in our prayers today as we say goodbye to him so that his remembrance brings us joy and not tears. We know that he is now spreading happiness in heaven and watching over us. The passing away of our friend, Philosopher & Guide Tony Bab has come to us like a shock. Here lies the soul who practiced what Jesus preached - Love your neighbour. The younger generation and all of us must learn from this man and follow in his footsteps. Tony had great concern for the less fortunate brethren of the community. During the difficult days of XITC it was Tony Bab, Mabel & family who came to the aid of the Institute by organizing financial assistance & support to the Trust. We had honoured Tony Bab during the Silver Jubilee Celebration held at XITC, Assaigoli in the year 2009. Our hearts overflow with gratitude to this unique family for their kindness, generosity & magnanimity.
