Carmine Vaz (90), mother of Gabriel Vaz / Albina Theresia Vaz, grandmother of Gaurav Joshua and Geeth Jason, passed away on December 2, 2020. Funeral followed by Mass at Kalpalli cemetery on Wednesday, December 2 at 4.00 pm.

I thank everybody for the condolence messages and prayers. Though she had health issues, she was fine and under medication. But last month, she had a fall at home, suffered pelvic fracture and never really recovered. She passed away peacefully despite suffering a bit before breathing her last. The funeral was held by evening.All of us, me and my wife, Albina, who took care of her and Mangala, who is our family member, my son Geeth, Anjali and my other son Gaurav and Shilpa have been very supportive of her and us, are blessed to have had her with us. She was 90 and would have completed 91 and entered her 92nd year in April. in fact, we wanted to celebrate her birthday with a small family party but the present Covid situation did not allow us. Even many of our relatives, friends and well-wishers were not able to attend.
