Geniview Furtado (86), sister of Gration Linette Furtado (Holy Family ward, Santhekatte, Udupi), passed away on January 25, 2021.
Funeral cortege leaves residence at 3.30 pm on Monday, January 25 for Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, Udupi.
Dear Gratian and family, We could not attend her funeral, but Gennybai will always be remembered for the selfless service of love and care she rendered to the patients in her care while she served as a professional nurse; for her leadership tempered with humility, and for her unusual ability to relate to kith and kin. Flavi has fond memories of her from Bombay Hospital and I have known her from my childhood /school days, and had a long and memorable conversation with her in Santhekatte about a decade ago.
