Lawrence Rebello (80), son of the late Ambrose Rebello and Mary Rebello, husband of Benedicta Rebello, father of Cheryl / Prakash, Brian / Jennifer, Muriel / Siddhartha, Osler / Pramila, grandfather of Samuel, Yohan, Andrew, Adrian, Hannah, Daniel and Chris, passed away on May 30, 2021.

Mortal remains can be viewed from 8 am to 9 am on Monday, May 31 at residence “The Anchorage”, Bajpe. Funeral service will be held at Bajpe Church.

Covid-19 rules to be strictly followed.

He was very jovial, affable and a fine gentleman. He was a great philanthropist. He has generously supported many educational institutions in and round Bajpe. After his retirement from Shipping service he involved in social work. Was member of Panchayat and Taluk panchayat. When there was acute water scarcity in his area a few years back he arranged water tankers and distributed water in the affected areas at his own cost. Such was his concern for the under privileged. He has actively participated and supported the Church organs He has financially helped many poor students to complete their studies . We will miss him. We pray for the departed soul. May his soul rest in peace.
