Joachim Cordeiro (92), husband of Magdaline Cordeiro, father of the late Joseph/Mary Cordeiro, Thomas/Irene, Valerian/Jacintha, the late David/Leena, Philomena/Benedict, Dennis/Savitha and Jerome/Joswin Shaila Cordeiro, passed away on November 12, 2021.

Mortal remains will be brought to St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, Mangalore on Friday, November 12 at 3:30 pm followed by funeral rites Mass at 4pm.

I am really greatful to God for giving me best person in my life that is my Grand pa... During my 25 years of life I have lots lots of memories with him. Since my Childhood during all my summer holidays the only place I run and ask shelter was my Grandparents. He was my fine guider, mentor and inspiration. He mold my personality with his words of wisdom, his experience and understanding on life and sowed deep rooted faith of Christ in my heart and soul. I remember in childhood days he used carry me in his back and swim in the lake. And during his old age he used to ask help to hold his hand to walk. He trusted and loved me. I am lucky that I know what's a grandpa love is and i received it to the fullest ... It was unconditional and pure. I have lots and lots of memories, knowledge he shared and many more that I will cherish throughout my life. I was his one of the favourite grandchild but he never said that to anyone expect me and he died when I holding him in my arm. I am really really Greatful to you Abaa and I am sure that you send blessings from above . I love you always and miss you forever.
