Funeral will be held in St Johns the Evangelist Church, Marol, Andheri east, Mumbai at 5 pm on Saturday, July 9.

Very shocking and Sad news.. ... Such an untimely loss ! A very beautiful Human Being !.. Irene touched so many countless lives and always helped anyone who approached her. She was a wonderful person and had a helpful heart bigger than the Ocean... Hv know Irene for more than 2 decades and I was also one of the recipient of her Kind and Big Heart... She was there for me whenever I needed help. When my husband, my colleague and I were hospitalised with Covid... Irene would send food /cheickn soup /Cheicken curry / eggs and milk with saffron for us everyday... and then would ask you want anything... Even that time she was suffering with pain but that did not deter her from sending us what we wanted. One day I was craving so much for Fish curry and she immediately sent Fish curry and Fish fry. That was our Irene... When my mom passed away late last year I was totally broken and an emotional wreck and Irene was the only one who took me under her wings and took care of me so well that I will never forget and am forever indebted to her for all that she did for me. There is so much to say of Irene... and I will sum it up in this way - God wanted angels to walk on this Earth He sent Irene as a balm for the Hurt The weak and the poor she never did forsake For in Gods own hands did Irene He make She was there for one and all Be it anyone big or Small Always with a Smile she helped so many I do think she touched hearts, be it any We will miss Irene day and night While all the pain she went through she has now taken flight In Gods Own Garden Irene is now Sitting and looking down on us... with her face Smiling ! Rest in Peace my Dearest Friend and Confidante and Angel in the Garden of the Almighty. You will be sorely missed but your legacy will live on forever and ever ! Condolence to Norbert, Doreen and Nelson and all the Family Members... This loss is too much to bear but take Strength that Irene is now free from her Pain and is with the Lord !
