Benedict Aloysius Joseph Alva (85), son of Goldin and Dorothy (nee Vas) of the Moodebelle Alva’s, husband of Moira Alva (née Albuquerque), father of Alok and Anjali / Scott, grandfather of Lily, brother of Clement / Berna, Aurelia / Cliffy (deceased), Vivette / Haru, Daphne / Angelo and Jean / Jan, passed away on September 24, 2022.

Mass to celebrate Ben’s life will be held at 10:00 am CST ( Central Standard Time ) on October 1, 2022, at St Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church in League City, Texas.

Dear Moira, Alok, Anjali, Scott and sweet little lily, So saddened to hear about Ben's passing away. It was so good to see him in Chicago this May. As usual he was so very cheerful, full of life,and such a joy to be with. Always very very happy. May God grant all of you the strength and courage to bear this big loss in your lives.
