I still fondly recollect whenever Maurice used to come to Kallianpur on his vacation, he used to regularly go for hunting and take me along with him as a companion. I have fond memories of our dear departed family friend, which I will cherish for many years to come. He was a very kind hearted and noble person . Dear Lovie, Sons, Blossom, Eunice, Evie & the rest of the Family members: It is indeed very sad to hear Uncle Maurice is no more. Uncle Maurice, was a down-to-earth, noble-minded gentleman, generous kind, and compassionate, who loved and respected every person who came across his path of life's journey. His presence always made people comfortable and happy around him with his great sense of humour. I remember a couple of childhood fond memories of him. He would give us money during Kallianpur Parish Feast. When he came from vacation, he would bring a projector with films & slides and display to us the countries he travelled to around the world. All of us would sit on the floor and it was just like watching a movie. He had a hobby of hunting. Early in the morning, he would shoot the birds and give them to my Mom for cooking. He was very close to our family. My deepest sympathies at this time of profound sorrow. Someone so special will never be forgotten. My condolences to Uncle Maurice's close family members may his beautiful memories bring you comfort and solace during this most difficult time. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. A tribute of love with prayers from Doris & Oswald Saldanha.
