John H G Anchen (87), husband of Vinaya Anchen, father of Ruhamah / Pradeep Jathanna & Melroy / Pragnya Anchen, grandfather of Ian, Leanne, Daniel and Michael, passed away on June 5, 2024.

The funeral cortege will leave residence 'Aashish', behind Aruna Nursery, Balmatta New Road, Mangalore on Friday, June 7 at 3:30 pm. Funeral service at 4:00 pm at Gorigudda cemetery.

The sad demise of Mr John Anchan, is the news that I receive with profound sadness but also with profound gratitude as I reflect upon his life. My prayers and condolences are with Vinaya Anchan and family members and all who loved him. With gratitude I remember his commitment to Hebich Technical Training Institute and church activities over so many years. I had the good fortune of knowing him since 1979 and what stood out was his deep sense of commitment to the church activities and compassion as a human being. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
