Capt Pramod I C Correa (61), Alvares Road, Kadri, Mangalore, husband of Erline Correa nee Pinto, father of Preetham and Prithika, son of the late John and the late Nelly Correa, brother of the late Capt Prakash/Una Correa and Capt Pradeep/Priya Correa, brother-in-law of Titus Pinto, Dr Noeline Pinto, Bernadine Rebello, Gerard Pinto and Mylene Pinto, passed away on October 10, 2024.

Mortal remains will be brought to St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Mangalore on Friday, October 11 at 2:45 pm public viewing. Holy Mass at 3:15 pm.

Dear Erlene, Preetham, Pratika , Pradeep , Una & the family- our heartfelt condolences to you all .It was so shocking to hear about Pramod. This is too early to bid farewell to such a wonderful person as Pramod. I sailed along with Pramod in 1984 as his senior cadet on Nand Shivchand. Over the years , we kept meeting each other occasionally at functions & at events.He would always speak of our wonderful sailing days that we had together. I have very fond memories of the Correa family that takes me back to our visits to their house in Wadala , Mumbai where we experienced such good hospitality from his mother Aunty Nelly & his Dad Uncle John along with Pradeep , late Capt.. Prakash with whom I had sailed as well. Adieu my friend ! May Pramod 's soul rest in eternal peace.

Erline, Our deepest sympathies. Absolutely shocked. I was Pramod's senior cadet on his first vessel Nand Kavita. Glenn, Pramod & I shared a cabin. Unfortunately except for the occasional email & Skype call hadn't met Pramod face to face for probably over 3 decades. Pramod's parents were very very generous and loving and we enjoyed lovely Easter & Xmas lunches at their place in Wadala. Capt Arul will represent us in paying respects to Pramod. Wish you, Preetham & Prithika all the strength and may the lovely memories of Pramod keep you all well.
