Sr M Virginia BS (nee Carmine Lilly Sequeira) (87), a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Central Delegation, passed away on October 7, 2025.

She was born on 18 July 1938 to the late Sebastian Sequeira and the late Magdalene Rodrigues in Balkunje, Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka, India. She was the eldest of seven siblings, among whom Sr Dr Lillian of happy memory and Hilarian are Bethany sisters and Fr William Sequeira SJ.

Funeral Mass and burial rites will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 3.00pm in Bethany Mother House Chapel, Bendur, Mangalore.
