Arthur Joseph Aloysius - "Bobby", son of the late Chevalier (Sardar) Aloysius U Kannappa and the late Mary Rego, brother of Sr Antoinette (Salesian), Sr Beatrice AC, Flavy, Leena and Eric, husband of Hilda nee Pereira, father of Gladys - Padua PU College ( + Neville Moraes - CCC Salalah, Sultanate of Oman) and Alan ( + Jessica nee D'Souza) and grandfather of Gavin, Glenn and Angela, passed away on December 3, 2007.

Funeral cortege leaves residence 'Aldale', Bunts Hostel Road, Mangalore for St Sebastian Church, Bendur at 4-30 pm on Wednesday, December 5, followed by Mass at 5-00 pm.

Very ssd to hear of Arthur's passing away on 3rd December. I read about it only today in the Mangalore magazine. I was in Mangalore from 1st to 10th December, and if I knew about it I would certainly have attended the funeral, as Arthur was in my SSLC batch. I had hoped to see him at the Reunion on 1st December as I believe he had been contacted but no one told me about his poor health. I am so sad. May the Lord grant his soul eternal peace. My sincere condolences to his family and his siblings, especially Sister Beatrice AC who was my wife's teacher at St. Anne's.
