R S Shettian (65) (Chairman & Managing Director - Athena Hospital & Athena Group of Institutions and Member of CSI Shanthi Cathedral, Balmatta, Mangalore), son of the late Rt Rev D P Shettian & the late Dorothy P Shettian, husband of Asha Shettian, father of Dr Nishita/ Dr Ryan and Dr Ashith/Loveena, grandfather of Nihaan, Evaan, Anaika and Anvik, brother of the late Shalini Cabral, Shashipal Shetian Madhupal Shettian, passed away on November 21, 2025.

Mortal remains will be brught to the residence Ashira, Near CSI Shanthi Cathedral, Balmatta, at 1:30 pm on Sunday, November 23, and kept for public viewing from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Funeral cortege will leave his residence at 4:15 pm for funeral service to be held at CSI Gorigudda cemetary at 4:30 pm.

During my mothers illness in 2012-2013 he was very gracious in offering medical help with no consideration.
