Sr Mabilia AC (81) (Carmel Convent, Jorhat, Assam), daughter of the late Santhan Lobo and Florine Lobo (Alake, Mangalore), sister of the late Walter Lobo / Lucy, Felcy / Victor Lobo and the late Br William Lobo, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Funeral will be held at 10.00 am on Wednesday, January 14 in Carmel Convent, Jorhat, Assam.

In my school days at Digwadih She has been not only a teacher, but also someone who could always provide guidance. Over the years this bond has become very special and the few occassions, that I could meet Her again have become precious memories. I could actually feel the power of Her prayers. Sr. Mabilia was a brave, righteous - a truly noble person, someone who was working to make the world a better place through out Her whole life. May She rest in Peace🙏
