Anand Lobo (63), son of the late Baptist Lobo and Rosy Lobo, husband of Janet Lobo, father of Yohann, brother of Joseph, Ruffina, Albert, Rudolph, Rita and Lynette, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Mortal remains will be kept for viewing on Friday, February 6 at 4.30 pm in St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai, Mangalore, followed by Mass at 5.00 pm.

Anand Lobo was such a person that in Bahrain, whenever there was any program—musical nights, sports, or any event—his presence was essential. And it was always his voice that echoed through the microphone. Whatever people said, good or bad, he never cared. I may not have seen anyone as talented, smart, and such an excellent speaker as him. May God grant peace to his soul and give his family the strength to bear this sorrow.
