Joseph Vas (86), husband of the late Benedicta Vas, father of Fr Claudy Stany Vas (SAC), Sr Jovita Vas (UFS), Austin/Laveena Vas, Anil/Pramila Vas, Nolly/Ivan Crasta, Kiran/Pramila Vas, Assumpta/James Pinto and Anitha/Harold Rodrigues, grandfather of Liston Prinson, Chris, Nerissa, Melina, Rachel, Rishon, Reuven, Avila and Alton, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Mortal remains will be brought to the residence 'Divine Mercy', Keleye House, Kelarai, Mangalore on Monday, February 9 at 1:00 pm. Funeral cortege leaves residence at 3:30 pm for St Anne Church, Kelarai followed by Mass at 4:00 pm.
