Br. Rudolf was a devout Capuchin friar. I have known him for many years. I used to spend hours together chatting with him on day to day affairs of religious life. When he lived in Mysore, we were good neighbours. I am saddened by his untimely death. The Capuchins of Karnataka have lost a friar filled with zeal. I send my heartfelt condolences to the Provincial and to all the friars of the Karnataka Province. May his soul rest in peace. Fr. Archie, OCD Provincial

"I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live."Jn,11:25. Today we the Capuchin Brothers of the Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, mourn the death of our beloved Brother Rudolf Godfrey D'souza. He was a greate treasure to the Capuchin Order, a faithful servant of God and a true follower of St.Francis of Assisi. Born on 21st March 1934, in Mangalore, at Cordel (Kulshekar), known as Godfrey (Baptismal name). He joined the Capuchins at his teens and said yes to the will of God through his religious Profession in 1956. Two years before he celebrated the Golden Jubilee of his religious consecration. He was loving and lovable to everyone. As we recall the sweet memories of life with our beloved Brother, we humbly pray for him. May the Almighty God grant eternal rest to his soul. -From Capuchin Friars at St.Ann's Friary, Mangalore.
