With great sorrow I inform you the sudden and untimely demise of our dear Ulric Lobo. He breathed his last yesterday evening on 24.11.08 . He had a massive heart attack. I spoke to him on Sunday evening regarding our Classmates Meet which is scheduled for 28.12.08 at Mangalore Club. He was the Finance Secretary for the event. He wanted as many of you to come and wanted to make arrangements for stay of those coming from out of town. He also proposed to have a T shirt or cap with the words "Class Of 66, St Aloysius......"He had contacted some friends from out of the city and also abroad. He was a great pillar of strength. It is a great loss for all of us associated with him. He was such an affectionate and loving person, thoughtful and caring, simple, outgoing, helpful,sincere. He was known for the trust, integrity and honesty that he always lived by. It made one proud to be associated with him. He was such good company I think that the angels were waiting for him. He was into real estate business . Formerly he served in the mechant navy. Both his parents were municipal councilors from Attavar , Mangalore and owned the S.L. Lobo Tile Factory at B. C. Road. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a close family as well as a large number of friends and relatives . We miss you Ulric. May you be happy in heaven and may your family near and dear ones get the courage and strength to face the situation.
