Prominent Philanthrophist Fabian Colaco Passes Away

Bangalore / Mangalore, Dec 18: Prominent philanthrophist and planter, Fabian Colaco breathed his last on thursday evening at 5 p m in Bangalore. Fabian Colaco, true to life, fought a hard battle to survive and was undergoing treatment for the last two months.
He was 88 years old at the time of his death. He was hospitalised after a fall in the church while attending mass in Mangalore.
He leaves behind his dear wife (Alice) with whom he was married for 61 years. Sons include Freddy Colaco (wife Anju), Ronald Colaco (wife Jean), Joe Colaco (wife Asha) and daughters late Jacyntha (Alphonso ) and Lavina (husband Thomas). This apart, he leaves behind number of grandsons and granddaughters (Sharon, Petula, Nigel, Randall, Swapnil, Nikita, Nihal, Kenneth and Leon) and a host of relatives and admirers.
Fabian Colaco was very well known in Mangalore where he spent most of his life and also the Coffee Estate. Just in January last, he had celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary in Mangalore which was attended by the elite of Mangalore and Karnataka. His was a quiet and pious life full of discipline and dignity which was respected by all around him.
Fabian Colaco will be sorely missed not only by his family but also by his long list of friends and well wishers. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
