Rev. Br. Stephen Rego, Capuchin died of massive heart attack on July 22, 2009 at 11.15 a.m. in the hospital in Mysore at the age of 66.

The funeral mass will held at Shanthi Sadhana, Opp.RV College, Bangalore-59 at 3.00 p.m. on 24th July 2009 and burial will take place at Deena Seva Ashram cemetery, Kengeri Bangalore – 560 059

We people of Fathima ward of St. Josephs church, Bajpe deeply condole the sudden demise of Br. Stephen Rego. He was from our Ward and recently visited our ward and prayed for everybody. His mission was hard one. He spent his precious life in the forests with the people according to the wish of Lord Jesus Christ. This is a shocking news for us. We pray may his soul rest in peace.
