Abu Dhabi – Sep. 17: A 26- year- old Mangalorean woman Vijayeta Jennifer Maslamani (nee Pinto) was tragically killed in a road accident late last evening.

Jennifer hailing from Mangalore was hit by a speeding car on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Highway near Al Rahba - Abu Dhabi and was killed instantly. Jennifer was travelling from Sharjah to meet her parents when the tragedy struck.

It is learnt from reliable sources that that Jennifer who was married only a year ago and was planning to go on vacation in a couple of days and this incident has come as a rude shock for entire family, relatives and friends.

Jennifer was the daughter of Victor and Juliet Pinto, long time residents of Abu Dhabi/Alain hailing from Moodbidri, Mangalore, wife of Samson and sister of Varun Pinto

Embalming

Embalming of mortal remains & Prayer Service will be held at Sh. Khalifa Hospital Morgue - Abu Dhabi at 7.30 a.m on Saturday 19 September 2009.

Funeral

The funeral will be held at St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia - Mangalore on Sunday 20 September 2009. Holy Mass at 4 pm. followed by burial.
