She has taught me in the II Std at St. Aloysius. We used to call her Machado teacher. She was a very kind hearted, loveable,caring person, besides a good teacher. Once, for answering a question correctly, she gave a sweet to me.My condolences to the family members, & may her soul rest in peace.
'Hilda Teacher' as we used to call her fondly was my First Standard Class Teacher at St.Aloysius. She was the one who taught me the basics of life and basic alphabets many many years back. Heartfelt sympathies to the family. May her soul rest in peace.
Like Michael Andrade who has commented below, I too joined in 2nd std while she was Headmistress. She was the class teacher of my brother Nigel's class. Great teacher - they dont make them like her anymore. RIP

My First Standard teacher at St Aloysius, dedicated, soft spoken, gentle, caring like a Mother. A great Teacher. I will never forget her, or the tiny 'Geera Peppermints' she used to keep in a bottle and give us. May God Rest her gentle soul in Peace.
