Sr M Noelline AC ( 82 ), St Agnes Convent, Bendur, Mangalore, former Professor and H.O.D. of Economics, St. Agnes College, daughter of the late Aloysius I. Mascarenhas, sister of Judith Mascarenhas (former Corporator, Mangalore ), passed away on Thursday January 6, 2011.

Funeral on Friday January 7, 2011 at 4 p.m. in St. Agnes Convent Chapel.

Dear Judy Bai,
Please accept my heart felt condolences.
I feel a sense of great loss at the passing away of our most respected former Economics teacher. I am priveleged to have been taught by Sr. Noelline in the early 80's. Sister also taught life's values, to respect human life and to uphold human dignity. Sr. Noelline felt deeply about social issues and urged her students to make a difference in this world. She was a great soul who had a profound influence on my life and helped me be a better person. I mourn her loss deeply. I thank God for Sr. Noelline. While on this earth she was a great gift to us all.

My dear Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel,As her student and colleague in the Dept of Economics, Sr Noelline has left an indelible impression on my life. She was an ecxellent teacher and role model.May her good work, always value-based, especially for the less fortunate and neglected ones, inspire us to follow good example.
