Stella Monteiro nee Menezes (82), retired teacher, Sampige, wife of Antony Monteiro, mother of Violet / Alex, Veera / Paul, Vinod / Benny & Vijay / Bettina, passed away on Monday May 30, 2011.

Funeral cortege leaves from opp. Central Warehouse, Mannagudda for St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai, Mangalore on Tuesday May 31 at 3.15 pm.

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your kindness and sympathy during our time of loss. It gives us much comfort to know that you are thinking of us as we grieve our mother’s death.

As you know our mother was a primary school teacher in a remote village - Sampige, far from Mangalore and she shifted to city after her retirement. She lived a long (82 years),Almost full life however she suffered a lot for the last five years when she was completely bed ridden and not able to move. Although her passing is a sad milestone for us, We are grateful for having her with us and guiding us for so many years.

Once again, We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
