Dear all at Hissons Kripa, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the demise of Johna Aba. It's indeed sad that I could not join you all today and have a last glimpse of Aba.

An exemplary and loving father, caring gradfather and above all a great human being for all of us who have felt his love and care from close quarters. As much as I owe my today's life to Furtado family of Hissons Kripa, I owe it to Johna Aba. It's been an association of 20 years with you all and specially your loving father which has moulded my life and taught me the value of hardwork, relationships, love and care. I perhaps learnt more being in the company of Aba than anywhere and with anyone else. Times in the paddy fields, hours spent together in fishing and swimming or even the everyday prayer of 45 minutes while at Hissons Kripa, festal days esp during Christmas, I cannot forget anything. I will cherish all these moments because it is these moments that have made me what I am today. Even during my last visit, despite his ailments, Aba had a few nice words of usual humour coupled with advice with me. And today suddenly to realize that such a prominent person who influenced my life either personally or through his equally wonderful children, is no more with us. I will surely miss you Aba and your words and deeds of wisdom.

May the Almighty strengthen you all to bear this loss. For sure Aba will bless you all from above. No one will ever be able to fill this void. May his soul rest in peace.
