Father Apolinaris was a Pastor par excellence, friend of the poor especially at Pavur Uliya, Petre near Brhamavar, Kodani and Molkod in Karwar diocese. He was truly selfless in his services to the poor people around him. As an elder friar he added wit and humor to the friars with whom he lived with. May His Soul Rest in Peace.

Your humble simple franciscan capuchin life witness spoke volumes to the brothers at Dayalbagh Ashram - Ujire, as well as you have been a "God's blessing" to the poor and the little ones. We have met Fr. Apolinaris Pinto a year ago at Ujire, Dayalbagh. He was a wonderful person. Capuchin Friars hold Fr. Apolinaris Pinto in high esteem. He lived what he preached. I met Fr Apolinaris on his 100th Birthday. Even at that ripe age he was jovial and full of grace. The Capuchin Friars are surely going to miss the great priest
