Gerald Serverin Mathias (Gerry) (79), (Ex-Air India), husband of Hazel nee Pinto, brother of the late Rudolph / Jeanne, the late Fr Ernest Kamath and Celine / Joe Miranda, uncle of Praveen. Rohan, the late Naren, Zarine, Joydeep & Ayesha, passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2011.

Funeral on Saturday October 22, 2011.

Viewing from 4 pm in St Andrew's Church, Bandra, followed by Mass at 4.30 pm and burial therafter.

My wife and I are extremely sad to hear of the passing away of Gerry, so soon after his two brothers passed away. Those deaths must have been devastating blows to him and led to his demise. May God give Gerry eternal peace and happiness, and to you May He give you the strenth to carry on. Gerry, as you know, was my classmate and we have been in touch all through the last sixtyfive years after high school. It is a great blow to me as well as I have lost one of my oldest and dearest friends.
