Dominic Sylvester Mendonca (85), of Pushpa Villa, Kodimar, Belman, husband of the late Marceline Mendonca, father of Faustine / Lily, Agnes (president, Katapady gram panchayat) / Francis D’Sa, Shankerpura (Priya Video and ‘Namma Udupi’ Channel), John / Arlene, and Janet / the late Lucas Tauro, passed away on June 11.
Funeral cortege leaves residence for the Church of St Joseph, Belman at 4-00 pm on Wednesday, June 15, followed by Mass and burial.

The late Mendonca ran his own taxi service in Mumbai. He was a resident of St Joseph’s Club, Mumbai for about 50 years and served in the executive committee of the club for many years. After retirement, he settled down in Belman, running a progressive jasmine-culture trade.
