Dr Lalitha Rao (93), former state minister of Maharashtra, passed away on Sunday July 28.

Lalitha Rao hails from Dakshina Kannada. She is also a well known organizer, politician, singer and an art lover. In 1979 Lalitha Rao represented India at the American Medical Conference.
