Fri, Aug 30 2013I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family of Dr. Lawrence Lobo.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. Lawrence was a friend of mine from 1939 to 1949 when I studied at St Aloysius College. He was a kind, gentle, conscientious, soul. We were members of the College hockey team. I recall our journey to Kasargod to play hockey. We had a lot of fun that day.I have a photo which I will email to you. I returned to Kenya
after completing my studies. I emigrated to Canada in 1968.
With deepest sympathy
Anthony Remedios

Sat, Aug 24 2013Dr. Lawrence Lobo was one of the finest persons known. Mild in his ways, he rendered yomen service the patients and hospitals.
It is sad that he met with a minor accident when he attended a function at St. Aloysius College auditorium. He was hospitalized for a long time and he bore the pain with patience. Celine - the dedicated wife was seen at his bed-side renering whatever help she could provide.
Dr. Lwrence was a person of great qualities of heart and mind and was very charitable.
I join several others in offering the bereaved family sincere sympathies. May his sould rest in peace.

Fri, Aug 23 2013Indeed it is deeply sad. Sorry to know - a good human and a great medical doctor passes on, leaving this world poorer for the rest. God gives and God takes may He be praised always. My parents had a great affection and respect for this lovely couple and specially for Dr Celine whom they admired at Chennai. May the good Lord bless and console her in a special way at this time of grief many including me and my dear ones share this sad time. The loving and powerful hand of Jesus holds this couple always. May dear Dr Lawrence's soul rest in the bosom of his saviour! -ijss.

Fri, Aug 23 2013Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Dr. Lawrence Lobo who worked as a Medical Superintendent for 10 years in St. John's Medical College Hospital.
He always held up the motto of St. John's "He shall live because of me" and lived it in words and deeds during his tenure in this hospital.
We will always cherish his example of self dedication and service.
May his soul rest in peace.
