Varadraj Nayak (77), renowned newspaper distributer and agent, resident of Attavar, passed away due to chronic illness here on Thursday October 31.

From past 15 years, Nayak was running a newspaper stall near Mohini Vilas hotel. He was a distributer of all dailies, magazines and other periodicals.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
