Mabel D’Cunha (nee Sequeira) (63) from Mumbai (Marol) / Mangalore (Urwa/Derebail), wife of Hubert D’Cunha, mother of Brenda, Brencie / Austin Pereira, grandmother of Megan Pereira, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014.

Funeral cortege leaves residence on Friday, July 18 at 3:30 pm for St Vincent Pallotti Church, Marol. Mass at 4.00 pm, followed by burial thereafter at St John the Evangelist Church, Marol.

I have had the privilege of having known Hubert & Mabel since 1981 when I moved into Bhawani Nagar,Marol.Mabel alongwith Hubert had been the founding member of the Bhawani Nagar Catholic Assn.in 1982.Great team members to work with whether at the CABN or the Pallotti Parish level.
Mabel had been a very pleasant,dedicated and efficient parishioner.For the convent of Sisters Adorers and the children of Navajyothi Childrens'Home,Marol she was a very silent generous benefactor.Always smiling and ever willing to render assistance to the needy,Mabel was a role model and an inspiration to us all.We will miss you Mabel and cherish your memory always.We thank you for all that you have been for us.May the Lord bless you with Peace in his eternal kingdom.
My deepest sympathies to Hubert,Brenda,Brencie/Austin Pereira and Megan at your irreparable loss.May the Lord be with you all and give you strength to bear this grief.
